Affordable Housing assumes significance at Home Front 2015

Kolkata, Apr 3 (IBNS): CREDAI Bengal, the state chapter of Confederation of Real Estate Developers' Associations of India, the apex body of the organized real estate developers across India Friday marked the commencement of Home Front 2015 the leading residential property exhibition in eastern India to showcase a wide variety of new projects and facilitate an organized platform for interaction between developers and potential buyers.

This year Home Front 2015 will have a dedicated zone for showcasing residential properties in the fastest growing affordable segment.

This three day property exhibition is being held at Netaji Indoor Stadium. Shri Prashant Kumar, Chief General Manager, State Bank of India, in the presence of Sushil Mohta, President, CREDAI Bengal,  Nandu Belani, Vice President CREDAI Bengal and  Harsh Vardhan Patodia, Vice President, CREDAI National, also other luminaries from the Real Estate sector like Pradeep Sureka of Sureka Group, Surendra Kr. Dugar of PS Group,  Jugal Kishore Khetawat Rameswara Group Enterprise and  Vivek Kajaria of Diamond Group along with other members of CREDAI Bengal who were also present.

The exhibition showcases a comprehensive array of various residential projects from diverse price brackets and categories by reputed developers of Bengal to attract potential customers and investors. The exhibition will be open to visitors 3rd April onwards from 11 am to 8.30 pm till Sunday, 5th April, 2015.

Sushil Mohta, President, CREDAI Bengal, commented, “Home Front 2015 is an ideal platform to promote constructive dialogue between buyers and developers that helps to maintain complete transparency among all stakeholders prior to owning their dream home. Our objective is to offer all categories of all kinds of residential as well as commercial properties under one roof providing the most elaborate bouquet of choices from trusted developers."

"This exhibition helps common people to explore numerous available and upcoming residential options in the city, suburb, and fringe locations. There has been a phenomenal growth in the affordable and mid segments in the periphery of the city contributing nearly 86% of the entire gamut of properties sold in the City. With attractive home loans available at disposal for all consumers, Home Front 2015 will surely help realize one’s dream of owning a home.”

A total of 38 developers and other allied institutions are participating at Home Front 2015.  

Nandu Belani, Exhibition Committee Convener and Vice President, CREDAI Bengal, stated, “This year at Home Front we have allotted a separate zone for developers to showcase their products in the affordable housing segment. With superior infrastructure and mode of transport available now, locations like Joka, Baruipur, Howrah, Maheshtala, Sodepur, Khardaha which were not in the scheme while planning to buy a property earlier, has now found fresh footing in the real estate market.

"We believe that there is now a considerable focus from private developers as to provide best possible amenities at reasonable rates in this segment.”
