AirAsia inaugurates flight from Bengaluru to Jaipur and Chandigarh
Jaipur, Sept 5 (IBNS): AirAsia India on Friday celebrated its entry into North India with a receiving ceremony for its inaugural flights from Bengaluru to Jaipur and Chandigarh.
A total of 180 guests, signifying a 100% flight load, were on board on both the inaugural flights which took off from Bengaluru on Friday and the flights were given a grand welcome with a water salute.
The first flight guests were welcomed by an entrancing folk dance performance at the airport.
AirAsia India CEO Mittu Chandilya, Bollywood actress, Kulraj Randhawa, Olympian Swimmer, Rehan Poncha were present to greet the guests from the inaugural flights.
AirAsia India CEO Mittu Chandilya said ”We are very excited to have Jaipur and Chandigarh on our network, as guests will now be able to connect conveniently to these cities from Bengaluru. AirAsia India currently operates flights from Bengaluru to Chennai/Kochi/Goa / Chandigarh/ Jaipur and vice versa.
