Axis Bank inaugurates its “All Women Branch” in West Bengal

Kolkata, July 15 (IBNS): Axis Bank, India’s third largest private sector bank, today announced the opening of its “All Women Branch’’ in Kolkata, the first of its kind branch in the state of West Bengal.

The branch was inaugurated at Lake Gardens by the renowned film actress Rituparna Sengupta, in the presence of Axis Bank officials Rajiv Anand, Executive Director, Sunil Gurbaxani, Regional Branch Banking Head – East and Pappu Srinivas, Circle Head Kolkata.

Speaking on the occasion, Rajiv Anand, Executive Director, Axis Bank said, “We are delighted to open our ‘All Women Branch’, the first in the state of West Bengal, marking yet another step towards the extensive customer banking focus that we are providing across the country. This reinforces our commitment to bring superior banking services, marked by convenience and closeness to our customers. Women play an important role in managing household savings and we believe that this ‘All Women Branch’ will help increase the participation of this segment in the banking industry.”
