Festive season drives Honda’s highest monthly retail sales in 2016

Mumbai, Nov 2 (IBNS): Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL) on Wednesday said it has registered its highest monthly retail sales during CY-2016 in October 2016 and delivered more than 20,000 cars in this festive month.

Speaking on the company’s performance, Yoichiro Ueno, President and CEO, Honda Cars India Ltd. commented, “Strong demand during the festival period led to Honda’s highest monthly retail sales of 2016 in October month. Due to increased car purchases in Navratra, Dhanteras and Diwali, the customers took deliveries of more than 20,000 Honda cars in this month.”

The company registered monthly Domestic Wholesales of 15,567 units and Exports of 289 units in October 2016.
