Honda Dio crosses over 30 Lac sales milestone
Gurugram, May 6 (IBNS): Honda 2Wheelers India, the undisputed leader of scooterization in India, today announced that Dio - its youthful moto-scooter, accomplished a new milestone.
Honda Dio has now delighted over 30 Lac trend-setting youngsters since its launch in 2002.
While it took 14 years to achieve the first 15 lac sales, the latest 15 lac sales were achieved in last 3 years i.e. almost 5 times faster the former pace. Honda’s Dio retains the position of India’s 4th largest selling scooter in India.
Noteworthy, Dio is not only delighting young customers of India but enjoys global acceptance as well. With 44% export market share in scooter segment, Dio is the largest exported scooter of India & exported to more than 11 South Asian & Latin American countries like Nepal, Sri Lanka, Mexico, Colombia & more; Dio is also Honda 2Wheelers India’s highest exported model.
