Honda Jazz strikes instant success with high customer demand
New Delhi, Aug 12 (IBNS): The all New Honda Jazz has struck instant success in the Indian market with over 9,000 units already sold in the domestic market.
The Honda Jazz became the single largest contributor to Honda Cars India’s 18% growth in the monthly sales for July 2015 with 6,676 units. Launched on 8th July 2015, the new Jazz has been able to attract customers from diverse profile with its strong offering of outstanding packaging, class-leading fuel economy, advance technology and segment first feature.
The Jazz has been an instant hit with first time car buyers as they contributed close to 45% of the total sales volume in the first month. This is the best response Honda Cars has garnered from first-time buyers for any of its models.
Jnaneswar Sen, Senior Vice President, Marketing and Sales, Honda Cars India said, “We are extremely happy with the response received for the All New Jazz. The Jazz has been able to expand the premium hatchback segment and its volumes will significantly contribute to the growth we are expecting this year.”
Honda Jazz has been offered as a best-overall value package car in the segment. The Key Highlights of Jazz being the unique combination of sporty exterior styling & super spacious, versatile and comfortable interiors which is achieved by a newly-designed body structure that makes Jazz more flexible and functional.
The new powertrain options of 1.5 L i-DTEC diesel technology and 1.2 L i-VTEC petrol technology achieves both greater fuel economy and fun-to-drive performance along with advanced and intuitive technology that adds to the joy of driving. The All-new Jazz’s versatility to quickly and easily adapt to a wide variety of passenger and cargo-hauling needs with its 4 configuration mode of Magic seats provides unique value to customers.
The introduction of the new CVT grade in Honda Jazz has set new benchmark in Automatic Transmission cars by delivering higher fuel efficiency than any manual car in its segment. The CVT variant currently accounts for almost 25% of the petrol variants’ demand which strongly reflects preference for automatics amongst customers.
