India market: Sensex slumps by 418.38 pts
Mumbai, Aug 5 (UNI) The benchmark index of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Monday slumped by 418.38 points to 36,699.84 on selling in Power, Bankex, Capital goods, Auto, Metal, Oil&gas and consumer durable stocks.
The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) too declined by 134.75 points to 10,862.60.
The Sensex registered day high and low at 36,844.05 and 36,416.79 respectively.
The Nifty registered day high and low at 10,895.80 and 10,782.60 points respectively.
