Mumbai/UNI: The BSE Sensex on Tuesday soared 221.26 points to close at 60,616.89 on the strength of power, utilities, realty and IT stocks.
The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) too rose by 52.45 pts at 18,055.75.
The Sensex registered days high and low at 60,689.25 and 60,281.52 respectively.
The Nifty recorded days high and low at 18,081.25 and 17,964.40 respectively.
