Indian Market: Sensex falls by 182 pts

Mumbai/UNI: The BSE Sensex on Friday slipped by 182 pts to open at 36,555.13 as selling was seen in Metal, Finance, Bankex and Utilities stocks.

The Nifty of National Stock Exchange too fell by 49 pts to 10,764.10.

The Sensex registered intra days high and low at 36,719.76 and 36,526.22 pts respectively.

The Nifty registered intra days high and low at 10,796.90 and 10,757.80 pts respectively.

The Mid Cap declined by 0.08 pc while Small Cap was up by 0.19 pc.

The losers were Indusind Bank by 2.08 pc to Rs 545, Tech Mahindra by 1.58 pc to Rs 567.60, HDFC by 1.45 pc to Rs 1913.80, M & M by 1.35 pc to Rs 573 and Titan by 1.10 pc to Rs 980.65.

The gainers were Sun Pharma by 1.99 pc to Rs 491.65, Bharti Airtel by 1.49 pc to Rs 577.30, SBI by 1.31 pc to Rs 201.70, Reliance Industries by 1.17 pc to Rs 1846 and Hind Unilever by 0.61 pc to Rs 2188.75.

In 30 scrips 10 advanced while 20 declined.
