Indian Market: Sensex falls by 62 pts

Mumbai/UNI: The BSE Sensex declined by 62 pts to 38,777.39 as selling was seen in Materials, Energy, Finance, Health Care and Industrials stocks.

The Nifty of National Stock Exchange too eased by 12.45 pts to 11,436.80.

The sectoral indices include, Energy, Finance, Industrials and Health Care dragged the market.

The Sensex registered intra days high and low at 38,978.52 and 38,738.22 pts respectively.

The Nifty registered intra days high and low at 11,493.50 and 11,423.90 respectively.

The Mid Cap moved up by 0.10 pc and Small Cap by 0.14 pc.

In 30 scrips, 20 declined while 10 advanced.

The losers were IndusInd Bank by 1.97 pc to Rs 608.45, HCL Technologies by 1.10 pc to Rs 713.75, Axis Bank by 1.02 pc to Rs 442.60 and Bajaj Finance by 0.99 pc to Rs 3464.40.

The gainers were Titan by 3.19 pc to Rs 1192.15, Maruti Suzuki by 1.10 pc to Rs 7310.40, Hind Unilever by 0.76 pc to Rs 2150.80 and TCS by 0.39 pc to Rs 2340.80.
