Indian Market: Sensex jumps 374.87 pts

Mumbai/UNI: The BSE Sensex on Thursday advanced 374.87 pts to close at 48,080.67 on the strength of Bankex, Finance, Realty, Metal and Materials stocks.

The Nifty too rose by 109.75 pts to 14,406.15.

The sensex registered days high and low at 48,143.16 and 47,204.50 pts respectively.

The Nifty recorded days high and low at 14,424.75 and 14,151.40 pts respectively.
