Indian Market: Sensex rallies by 141.51 pts

Mumbai/UNI: Maintaining gaining streak for the third straight session, the BSE Sensex on Monday rallied by 141.51 points to 38,182.08 on brisk gains in Health Care, Capital Goods, Realty and Industrials stocks.

The Nifty of National Stock Exchange rose by 60.65 points to 11,274.70. It recorded days high and low at 11,337.30 and 11,238 points respectively.

The Sensex remained in green throughout the day, as it rose by 128 points to open at 38,168.42. It spurted nearly 390 points to 38,430.69, days high before closing at 38,182.08, up by 141.51 points from its previous close.

It registered days low at 38,073.29 pts.

The sectoral indices like Health Care, Industrials, Capital Goods, Realty and Utilities kept the rally intact.

In scrips, M & M, L & T, NTPC and Tech Mahindra moved up while selling in Maruti Suzuki, Reliance Industries, Bajaj Finance, Bajaj Finserv and Ultracemco capped from further gains, broker informed.

The Mid Cap rose by 1.42 per cent and Small Cap by 1.47 per cent.

In 30 scrips, 18 advanced while 12 declined.
