Indian Market: Sensex recovers 228.46 pts

Mumbai/UNI: The BSE Sensex on Monday jumped by 228.46 pts to close at 52,328.51 following gains in Utilities, Energy, Power and Telecom stocks.

The Nifty too rose 81.40 pts to 15,751.65.

The sensex registered days high and low at 52,378.69 and 52,054.76 pts respectively.

The Nifty recorded days high and low at 15,773.45 and 15,678.10 pts respectively.
