Indian market: Sensex up by 339.31 pts

Mumbai, Oct 27 (UNI) The benchmark index of the Bombay Stock Exchange(BSE) rose 339.31 points to 39,397.37 in the Muhurat trading's opening session on Sunday.

The boost was seen owing to fresh buying in the Basic Materials,Consumer Discretionary Goods & services,Energy,FMCG,Finance,Healthcare,IT,Industrials,among others.

The Nifty of the National Stock Exchange(NSE) too rose by 56.05 points to 11,639.95.

The Sensex registered intra-day high and low at 39,402.23 and 39,212.41 points,respectively.
