Indian market:Â Sensex ends at new peak at 40,469.78 pts
Mumbai, Nov 6 (UNI) The benchmark index of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Wednesday ended at an all-time-high at 40,469.78, advancing by 221.55 points following gains in Bankex, Realty, Health Care, Industrials and Materials stocks.
The National Stock Exchange (NSE) too moved up by 43.80 points to 11,961.
The Sensex registered day's high and low at 40,606.91 and 40,037.53 points respectively.
The Nifty recorded day's high and low at 12,002.90 and 11,850.25 points respectively.
