Indian national killed in Nepal road mishap

Kathmandu, June 17 (IBNS): An Indian national was killed in a road accident in Nepal on Saturday, media reports said.

The mishap occurred when  a passenger bus turned turtle at Dhakeri of Rapti Sunari Rural Municipality-9 in Banke districtof Nepal.

The incident left 20 others injured.

The deceased has been identified as Niluji Adhikary (35), a permanent resident of Calcutta in Indian State of West Bengal, the police was quoted as saying by The Hindustan Times.

The tragedy occurred when the bus was on its way to Surkhet from Butwal.

The injured people were taken to Kohalpur Medical College Hospital for treatment.

The driver has been arrested.
