Indian Rupee down 32 paise against USD

| @indiablooms | Nov 02, 2020, at 10:23 pm

Mumbai/UNI: The Rupee on Monday dropped by 32 paise to close at 74.42 against the US Dollar on brisk demand for US Dollars by bankers and importers, dealers at the Forex Market said.

The local unit that declined by 26 paise to 74.36 in early trade, slid further and settled down at 74.42, down by 32 paise as compared to its previous close.

The Rupee was seen under pressure because of strong Dollar against other world currencies amid weak

equity market, dealers added.

The rupee registered intra days high and low at 74.45 and 74.30 respectively, he added.
