Mumbai/UNI: The Rupee on Wednesday ended positive at 73.53, rising by six paise against the US Dollar on selling of US Dollar by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Forex Market said.

Sliding by 56 paise in last two sessions, the local unit fell by two paise to 73.61 in early trade, later it erased earlier losses and finished positive at 73.53, gaining by six paise as compared to its previous close.

The Rupee improved owing to weak Dollar against other world currencies, amid negative equity market, dealers added.

The rupee registered intra days high and low at 73.63 and 73.50 respectively, he added.
