Indian Tea Association elects office bearers for 2021-22

Kolkata/IBNS: Nayantara Palchoudhuri, Director of Washabarie Tea, has been elected the Chairperson of Indian Tea Association for the year 2021-22 in a meeting of the trade body on Wednesday.

Atul Asthana, Managing Director & CEO of Goodricke Group and Hemant Bangur, Chairman of Joonktollee Tea & Industries have been elected Vice-Chairperson and Additional Vice-Chairman respectively of the association, the Indian tea producers' trade body said in a press release.

In her capacity as the Chairman, Nayantara Palchoudhuri will concurrently hold the Chairmanship of the Consultative Committee of Plantation Associations (CCPA), the apex body of Tea Plantation Associations in India.
