Mumbai: Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.’s Farm Equipment Business reported domestic tractor sales of 26,990 units in July 2025, up 5% from 25,587 units in the same month last year.

Total tractor sales, including exports, stood at 28,708 units, a 6% increase year-on-year.

Exports rose to 1,718 units during the month, compared to 1,622 units in July 2024.

Veejay Nakra, President – Farm Equipment Business, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., attributed the growth to healthy rural cash flows following the Rabi harvest and timely monsoon progress, which supported sowing activity for the Kharif season.

“This performance was driven by sustained land preparation activities… further contributing to good demand during the onset of sowing,” he said.

In the year-to-date period (April–July), domestic sales grew 10% to 1,56,189 units, while exports rose 7% to 6,608 units.

Total sales for the period reached 1,62,797 units, a 9% increase over the same period last year.
