Metro cities witness hike in petrol, diesel prices for ninth consecutive day

New Delhi, May 22 (IBNS): The price hike of petrol and diesel continued for ninth consecutive day in major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata.

The prices have risen by over Rs. 2 per litre on Tuesday.

On Tuesday, the petrol prices are Rs. 76.57/litre in Delhi, 84.4/litre in Mumbai, 79.47/litre in Chennai and 79.24/litre in Kolkata.

The diesel prices on Tuesday are Rs. 76.87/litre in Delhi, Rs. 84.7/litre in Mumbai, Rs. 79.79/litre in Chennai and Rs. 79.53/litre in Kolkata.
