New Delhi/UNI: Chinese smartphone maker Oppo on Monday announced Reno 3 Pro, the latest entry in the Reno series.

It’s a mid-range model that’s altogether separate from the Reno 3 Pro 5G released in China in December which is launching first in India.
One of the key highlights of the Reno3 Pro will be the 44MP dual punch hole camera setup on the front. It is the first smartphone in the world to come with such a camera setup.

Oppo has also confirmed that the phone will be able to click portrait selfies with sharp edges and background gradients. It uses artificial intelligence (AI) based algorithms to turn on the Ultra Dark Mode automatically when the illumination is lower than 1 lux to capture clear photos in dark environments.

The Reno 3 Pro feels slimmer and lighter than most of its peers, at 8.1mm thick and 175g.

Oppo has provided an in-display fingerprint sensor on the Reno 3 Pro. Further, the smartphone offers up to 256GB of onboard storage. The company also announced the launch of the Oppo Kash as its financial services platform -- similar to the Realme Paysa that the Oppo spin-off brand launched last year.

The 8 GB RAM and 128 GB version priced at Rs 29,990 while the 8 GB RAM and 256 GB onboard storage version cost Rs 32,990.
