SBI Card launches credit card Elite

Kolkata, July 7 (IBNS): SBI Card, one of the leading credit card issuers in India, on Thursday launched SBI Card Elite, a premium credit card designed to complement the refined tastes of the discerning customers.
Launched on the MasterCard World platform, the credit card is enabled with NFC(Near Field Communication) technology. This allows customers a contact less payment experience, adding more speed and suave to their wallets.
 
"SBI Card Elite is our first credit card on the premium MasterCard World platform. The partnership with MasterCard will build a deeper engagement between the two entities, to offer a world of privileges and an enhanced experience to the premium category customers. The credit card will allow SBI Card to accelerate acquisition of premium customers by expanding the company’s premium card portfolio," an official statement said.
 
SBI Card Elite will not only allow cardholders to live privileged, but will also reward and complement their lifestyle. With this card, customers will benefit from accelerated rewards on shopping and lifestyle spends and earn bonus reward points on achieving spend milestones.

The card will come with a joining fee of Rs. 4,999. All SBI Card ELITE customers will receive a welcome gift worth Rs. 5,000 in the form of vouchers from popular lifestyle and travel brands.

At the launch, Vijay Jasuja, CEO, SBI Card, said, “At SBI Card, it is our constant endeavour to create products that complement the dynamic needs and spending patterns of our customers. We believe that this card will give our customers an experience of premium privileges that are unique and match their lifestyle.
