Sensex-Nifty
Mumbai: Snapping a losing streak of last five sessions, the BSE Sensex on Wednesday posted 574.35 pts gain to close at 57,037.50 following rise in Auto, Energy, Oil and Gas and Technology stocks.
The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) too rose 177.90 pts at 17,136.55.
The Sensex registered day's high and low at 57,216.51 and 56,521.33 pts respectively.
The Nifty recorded day's high and low at 17,186.90 and 16,978.95 respectively.
