Sensex regains more than 900 pts

Mumbai: The BSE Sensex on Friday bounced back by 991 pts at 53,783.40 in the opening session as buying was seen across the board amid positive Asian Market.

The Nifty too rose 320.50 pts at 16,129.90.

The Sensex registered days high and low at 53,847.02 and 53,403.29 pts respectively.

The Nifty registered days high and low at 16,140.25 and 16,003.85 pts respectively.

The Mid cap moved up 1.80 pc and Small Cap by 1.87 pc.

All 30 scrips were positive. The gainers were Dr Reddy's Lab by 3.66 pc to Rs 4071.65, Tata Steel by 3.57 pc to Rs 1162.95, Indus Ind Bank by 3.26 pc to Rs 894.65, SBI by 2.52 pc to Rs 459 and Sun Pharma by 2.45 pc to Rs 906.10.
