Skolkovo signs agreement with Indian Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council

New Delhi, Dec 11 (IBNS): Skolkovo Foundation on Thursday signed cooperation agreement with Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council, sponsored by the Indian government with the aim to support hi-tech Indian companies in international markets outreach.
The document was signed by Victor Vekselberg, President of Skolkovo Foundation, and D K Sareen, Executive Director of the Council. 
 
The signing ceremony took place in the framework of the official visit of the Russian President Vladimir Putin to India.
 
As a part of this Agreement, the Council already invited 15 Skolkovo’s startups to take part in the largest IT conference Indiasoft-2015, which will be held in February 2015 in New Delhi. 
 
Skolkovo Foundation invited Indian startups to take part in the international conference Startup Village 2015 - to be held in June 2015 in Skolkovo, near Moscow.
 
Victor Vekselberg, President of Skolkovo Foundation: “Information technologies sector in Indian economy shows very fast and sustainable growth rates in recent years. As a result India’s IT sector’s input into country’s GDP amounts to 8.9%. Exchange of experience with Indian companies becomes vital for Russian startups."
