Sonalika organizes Leadership retreat

Kolkata, Sept 18 (IBNS): Tractor manufacturer Sonalika International Tractors Ltd. (ITL) has organized a two-day Leadership retreat in Kolkata.

Themeets were organized at Kolkata, Lucknow, Chandigarh and Bhopal in order to acknowledge the efforts of the team in bringing up the sales volume as well as assigning them with new responsibilities.

The event celebrated the success of Sonalika tractors and the contribution of the dedicated dealers and sales team helping Sonalika in reaching the desired heights. In the current year, Sonalika tractors achieved 12% market share from the previous 10.4% percent last year.

Speaking at the event, International Tractors Ltd, Executive Director, Raman Mittal said, “We achieved 12% of market share from 8% in a span of 4 years which means almost 50% growth. In fiscal year 2014-15 Sonalika become the no.3 player in the industry surpassing leading players. This is the result of our commitment towards the defined goal along with importance of time that we all have understood as a team. Goingforward from here we now are eyeing to cover 20% market share by 2020 and become the leader soon”.

“Westarted the journey with lots of passion and self-belief keeping customer requirements at the center. Today Sonalika manufactures in-house engine transmission and hydraulic parts for its tractors and our products are manufactured with Zero defects. We, the third generation of the company are proud that very soon we will accomplish the dreams of our seniors," Mittal said.

On the leadership skill training, Mittal further said, “In order to emerge as a leader one has to have passion towards the work and self-belief. Today we have the team which clearly wants something and believes in itself and believe in the organization in terms of their product prices and policies. We have formed a leadership board comprising of 20 people which includes all the HODs and the Zonal managers. This is a symbol of our faith in them. We are sure they will make best use of the opportunities and accomplish our vision of “Sonalika becoming No 1”.
