Turner International celebrates its 50 years of global presence

New Delhi, Oct 13 (IBNS): Turner International, a construction management company in the United States, is celebrating its 50 years of global presence with celebratory events in Delhi and Mumbai as a mark to the occasion.

Peter J Davoren, President & CEO, Turner Construction Co. and Abrar Sheriff, President & CEO were also present on the occasion along with the other dignitaries.

The organization has earned global recognition for undertaking large, complex projects, fostering innovation, embracing emerging technologies, making a difference for their clients, employees and to the community overall.


“Throughout our history Turner has worked on some of the world’s best-known buildings, closely with some of the world’s most renowned architects, and in more than 60 countries since 1965. While we are proud of our building accomplishments we also celebrate the people who have brought us to this point,”  said Abrar Sheriff, President  & CEO of Turner International.

In India, Turner International established Turner Project Management India Private Limited (TPMI), headquartered at Mumbai for its India operations back in year 2008. Starting with its first project in Chennai by Hiranandani group. Today under the leadership of Jairam Panch, Vice President & Managing Director, TPMI is working for 6 Projects located at NCR region, Mumbai and Gujarat. 

Some of the signature projects in India are the DLF’s Mall of India project, as it stands as one of the largest malls in India, Statue of Unity project, the world’s tallest statue in Gujarat.

Whilst speaking, Jairam Panch commented, “Our journey so far, remained good with our clients, world-renowned architects and engineers from all across the world. As Turner continues to focus on expanding and growing its business overseas, we look forward to strengthen our Indian wing while creating more opportunities for our people and serving our clients.”

With projects underway in 17 countries, including VietinBank Tower in Vietnam, Pertamina Energy Tower in Indonesia, the Louvre Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates, Tun Razak Exchange in Malaysia, Federation Tower in Russia, Talan Towers in Kazakhstan, the Statue of Unity in India, and the Torre BBVA Bancomer in Mexico, Turner International looks forward to the next 50 years and beyond.
