COVID-19: India sees massive spike of 57,118 cases in 24 hours

New Delhi: India witnessed a massive spike of 57,118 cases in the past 24 hours, as per Ministry of Health data released on Saturday.

During the same period, 764 people have died.

There are 565103 active cases in the country at present.

So far, 1094374 people have been discharged or recovered from the highly infectious disease.

The death toll due to COVID-19 has touched 36511.
