COVID-19: India witnesses another day of massive spike in cases, death toll touches 23174
New Delhi: India witnessed another day of massive spike in the COVID-19 cases with 28,701 recorded in the past 24 hours.
The country also registered 500 deaths related to the highly infectious disease.
As per Indian Health Ministry website, there are 301609 active cases in the country at present.

So far, 553470 people have been discharged from hospital.
The death toll due to the disease is right now 23174.
