COVID-19: India's daily positivity rate touches 5 pct, 67,597 fresh cases reported

New Delhi: India witnessed a sharp decline in daily load as 67,597 new cases were reported in the past 24 hours, as per data released by the Ministry of Health on Tuesday.

During the same period, 1188 people died due to the deadly virus.

India's active caseload currently stands at 9,94,891.

Active cases stand at 2.35 percent.

Recovery Rate currently at 96.46 percent.

Meanwhile, 1,80,456 people recovered from the disease in the past 24 hours.

The daily positivity rate of the disease now stands at 5.02 percent.
