Covid-19: Maharashtra records 850 fresh cases, 4 more deaths in 24 hours

Mumbai/IBNS/UNI: Maharashtra recorded 850 fresh cases of Covid-19 and four more virus-related deaths from across the state in the last 24 hours, a health bulletin said on Sunday

With the addition of these new cases, the total number of Covid positive cases went up to 81,61,349, and the death toll jumped to 1,48,503.

The fatality rate stands at 1.81 percent.

On Saturday 648 patients recovered from coronavirus infection and the count of recoveries in the state reached 80,06,680.

With this, the recovery rate stands at 98.10 percent.

At present 5,970 patients are being treated in the state, they added.
