COVID-19 Spike: 1,904 people test positive in Delhi, six die

New Delhi/UNI: Delhi reported 1,904 new cases of COVID-19, highest in over three months, and six more deaths from the virus in the past 24 hours, a health bulletin said on Monday evening.

The new addition has taken the national capital's caseload to 6,59,619 and the death toll to 11,012.

According to the health bulletin, a total of 68,805 COVID-19 tests were conducted in the past one day. The recovery rate has now decreased to 97.11 per cent.

The city's cumulative positivity rate is 4.56 per cent.

Currently, there are 4,639 COVID patients under home isolation across the city who are mostly asymptomatic or with very mild symptoms.

The number of active cases are 8,032 which includes patients under home isolation. Containment zones are 1,849.
