Covid: Rajasthan records 57 new cases, three more deaths; tally reaches 3,653

Jaipur/UNI: Rajasthan on Saturday added 57 fresh cases and three more deaths to its novel coronavirus tally, pushing the total number of infections to 3,653 and fatalities to 103.

As per state Health department, among the fresh cases, maximum 20 surfaced in Udaipur, followed by 15 in Jaipur, 11 in Ajmer, three in Palii, two each in Churu and Rajsamand while one each in Kota, Jhalore and Barmer.

Expanding the state tally, 207 cases were recorded in Ajmer, 20 in Alwar, 66 in Banswara, one in Baran, four in Barmer, 116 in Bharatpur, 43 in Bhilwara, 38 in Bikaner, 126 in Chittorgarh, 16 in Churu, 22 in Dausa, 21 in Dholpur, nine in Dungarpur, 11 in Hanumangarh, 1,160 in Jaipur, 35 in Jaisalmer, five in Jhalore, 47 in Jhalawar, 42 in Jhunjhunu, 851 in Jodhpur, 42 in BSF, five in Karauli, 233 in Kota, 119 in Nagaur, 58 in Pali, four in Pratapgarh, 15 in Rajsamand, nine in Sawai Madhopur, two in Sirohi, nine in Sikar, 136 in Tonk while 99 in Udaipur.

So far, 2021 patients have recovered from the viral infection, of which 1,771 discharged from hospitals.

The Health department informed that so far, 1,52,245 samples have been tested, out of which 3,636 tested positive, 1,46,198 negative while result of 2,411 awaited.
