Delhi records 1450 fresh COVID infections, recovery rate drops

New Delhi/UNI: The national capital's COVID recovery rate remains under pressure and has again witnessed a slight drop, due to more fresh infections being recorded in the city, as compared to the recoveries.

According to the state health bulletin here on Sunday, the national capital recorded 1450 new cases and 1250 fresh recoveries, while the recovery rate witnessed a slight drop of .03 per cent and stood at 90.04 per cent.

The active case load on the city has increased by 184 in the past 24 hours, and the figure now stands at 11778.

The number of cured and discharged cases in the city have reached 1,45,388, till date.

Fatalities in the city reached 4300, after 16 more people lost their battle to the contagion, since Saturday.

The overall cases tally of the city has reached 1,61,466, so far.

The home isolation cases have increased by 105 as compared to yesterday and now, the figure stands at 5896.

Containment zones in the city at present are 627 across the city, the state health bulletin said here.
