Gujarat: Tragic fire in Covid hospital in Rajkot, says Harsh Vardhan

Gujarat/UNI: Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Harsh Vardhan on Friday expressed deep grief over the death of several patients in a fire at a Covid designated hospital in Rajkot, Gujarat and wished the injured patients a speedy recovery.

Dr Harsh Vardhan tweeted, "The untimely death of many patients from a horrific fire in a hospital in Rajkot, Gujarat is tragic. Pray to God to give peace to the souls of the disabled and patience to the grieving family.I wish the injured patients speedy recovery in this accident."

At least five patients died and many others were injured in the blaze last night at Shivanand Covid Hospital in Rajkot.
