INAE, ISRO to host Engineers' Conclave-2014 in Bangalore
Bangalore, Oct 29 (IBNS): Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE) and Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) are organising a mega event titled 'Engineers Conclave-2014' (EC-2014) from Oct 30 to Nov 1 at the J N Tata Auditorium in the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore.
The objective of this event is to provide a platform to all professional engineers/scientists of the country to address some of the major engineering challenges relevant to society as well as the country and to suggest suitable engineering solutions.
K Radhakrishnan, Chairman, ISRO/Secretary, Department of Space is the
Chair and Baldev Raj, President, INAE/Director, National Institute of Advanced Studies, is the co-chair of Engineers’ Conclave-2014.
EC-2014 will be inaugurated by U R Rao, Chairman, PRL Council and former Chairman, ISRO/Space Commission.
This Conclave will have two themes, namely, “Emerging Space Applications” and “Technologies for the Hill Regions”.
The Conclave will have a two and a half day conference with inaugural and valedictory sessions, plenary talks and well structured panel discussions.
Technical Sessions in the “Emerging Space Applications” theme will have 15 invited talks by experts from various organisations.
