India maintains upwards trend, 18599 new COVID-19 cases recorded in 24 hours
New Delhi: India reported 18,599 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, showing the upwards trend in daily case count, as per Ministry of Health data released on Monday.
The death toll due to the virus now stands at 1,57,853 with the country recording 97 new deaths due to the deadly virus.
So far, 1,08,82,798 people have recovered from the disease.
There are 1,88,747 active cases in the country at present.
