India records 1,096 new COVID-19 cases in last 24 hours

New Delhi/IBNS: At least 1,096 new COVID-19 cases were recorded in the last 24 hours in India, the Union Health Ministry said in a statement on Sunday.

India's active caseload currently stands at 13,013, which is 0.03 per cent.

The recovery rate currently stands at 98.76 per cent, with 1,447 recoveries in the last 24 hours.

A total of 79.07 crore tests have been conducted in the last 24 hours

Meanwhile, 184.66 crore vaccine doses have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive
