India records 11,850 new COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours, 555 deaths

New Delhi: India recorded 11,850 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, as per data released by the Ministry of Health on Saturday.

During the same period, 555 people died due to the virus which is believed to have originated from China.

The death toll due to the virus now stands at 463245.

Recovery Rate currently stands at 98.26 percent.

12,403 recoveries were recorded in the last 24 hours.

Active cases account for less than 1 percent of total cases.

It currently stands at 0.40 percent.

India's Active caseload stands at 1,36,308; lowest in 274 days.

Meanwhile, 111.40 cr vaccine doses have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive.
