India records 12,428 new COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours

New Delhi: India recorded 12,428 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, marking the lowest daily count in the past 238 days, as per data released by the Ministry of Health on Tuesday.

Recovery Rate currently stands at 98.19 percent.

During the same period, 356 people died due to the infection.

15,951 people recovered from the viral disease in the past 24 hours.

Active cases account for less than 1 percent of total cases.

It currently stands at 0.48 percent.

India's Active caseload stands at 1,63,816.
