India records 12689 COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours

New Delhi: India registered 12,689  new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, as per Ministry of Health released data on Wednesday.

The total number of COVI(D-19 cases registered by the country since recording the first one now stands at 1,06,89,527.

In the last 24 hours, 137 deaths were also reported due to the highly infectious virus.

The death toll due to the disease now stands at 153724.

So far, 10359305 people have been discharged.

There are 176498 active cases in the country at present.
