India records 15,940 COVID-19 cases, 20 deaths in past 24 hours

New Delhi; India, a nation which has witnessed three waves of the COVID-19 pandemic, recorded 15,940 fresh cases in the past 24 hours as the daily positivity rate now touched 4.39 percent, as per data released by the Ministry of Health on Saturday.

During the same period, 20 people died due to the viral infection.

India's Active caseload currently stands at 91,779

Active cases stand at 0.21 percent.

Recovery Rate currently at 98.58 percent.

12,425 people recovered from the viral infection in the past 24 hours.
