India records 2,183 new COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours

New Delhi: India witnessed a significant rise in daily case count as 2,183 new COVID-19 cases were recorded in the past 24 hours, as per data released by the Ministry of Health on Monday.

During the same period, 214 people died due to the virus.

India's Active caseload currently stands at 11,542.

Active cases stand at 0.03 percent.

Recovery Rate currently at 98.76 percent.

1,985 people recovered from COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.
