India witnesses 1,15,736 new COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours

New Delhi: India recorded a massive spike of 1,15,736 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, as per Ministry of Health released data on Tuesday.

During the same period, 630 people also died due to the virus.

The total death toll due to the virus now stands at 1,66,177.

There are 843473 active cases in the country at present.

India is witnessing a surge in COVID-19 cases for the past few days.

Several state governments have imposed restrictions to reduce the spread of the virus.
