India's daily positivity rate reduces to 11.69 pct, 1,192 people die due to COVID-19 in past 24 hours

New Delhi: India witnessed a significant drop in daily count as 1,67,059 new COVID-19 cases were recorded in the past 24 hours, as per data released by the Ministry of Health on Tuesday.

During the same period, 1192 people died due to the deadly virus.

The daily positivity rate also declined to11.69 percent.

India's active caseload currently stands at 17,43,059.

Active cases stand at 4.20 percent.

Recovery Rate currently stands at 94.60 percent.

In the last 24 hours, 2,54,076 recoveries were also registered from the disease.
