ISRO's LVM-M3/OneWeb-India 2 mission launched successfully

| @@indiablooms | Mar 26, 2023, at 06:16 pm

Sriharikota(AP)/IBNS/UNI: In a dedicated second commercial launch, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on Sunday successfully accomplished the LVM-M3 mission.

The mission injected all 36 satellites of the UK-based OneWeb into a Low Earth Orbit (LEO) from the SHAR Range here on Sunday.

After a smooth 24-and-a-half hour countdown, LVM-3 took off majestically from the Second Launch Pad at the scheduled time of 9.00 AM and launched the satellites into the precise orbit.

One Web is also backed by Bharti Group, the brand behind Bharti Airtel and currently has 618 satellites in the lower orbit, which will help the company to offer global coverage.
