Kolkata: Apollo Gleneagles opens eye-care unit in Gariahat

Kolkata, Jan 29 (IBNS): Hospital group Apollo Gleneagles on Wednesday officially launched their comprehensive eye-care unit at Gariahat area in Kolkata.

President and CEO-Eastern Region of Apollo Hospitals group Rupali Basu and Ophthalmologist  Tapas Paul were present at the inauguration of clinic.

Addressing a press conference, Tapas Paul said, "This new centre brings together world class infrastructure with highly skilled medical professionals and state of the art medical equipments and is a one stop shop for eye care solution in problems."

Apollo authorities claimed that they had brought a latest machine, B-Scan-Ultrasound of Eye-Eye cubed V4 for the first time in eastern India.

This eye care clinic is situated at the Apollo Gleneagles Heart Centre.
