Thane, Oct 15 (IBNS): Thane’s Korum Mall on Friday joined hands with the Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) to bring forth the “My Home, My City” initiative, in keeping with the nation-wide Swachh Bharat campaign.

Volunteers from the mall teamed up together with representatives from TMC, and were part of the clean-up drive conducted on Oct 14, covering the service road outside the mall.

With the aim of keeping every corner of the city clean, the clean-up drive is being implemented by the civic body across areas including malls, roads, railway stations, residential societies, private offices, slum areas.

Jayant Patnaik, Deputy Chief Sanitary Inspector, Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) was also present to support the event.

Speaking on the same, a mall spokesperson said, “We at Korum are pleased to be part of such an endeavour to create a clean and healthy environment, not only within our mall but also outside the mall premises. Korum has always believed and worked towards giving back to the society, and this drive has been an extension of our social initiatives. We thank TMC for their cooperation and hope for such collaborations in the future.”
