Leopard crossing highway run over in Jalal Shivar

Nashik, Feb 21 (UNI) A two-and-half-year old leopard was killed in an accident in Jalal Shivar on Malegaon-Kopargaon state highway in the wee hours of Thursday.

Giving details, forest department officials said when the male leopard was crossing the road, he was hit by unknown vehicle killing on the spot.

Getting a news, villagers informed the forest Department.

The body of the leopard was brought to forest office at Aagangaon and autopsy was done, officials added.
